Structural Problems
Unfortunately, due to the fact that most purchasers are reliant on mortgages to purchase properties and mortgage companies very rarely lend on properties which have structural defects and require structural work. The market for the disposal of these properties is very small.
We are one of a few companies that will actually buy properties that have true structural problems, whether your building is insured or not.
Often these properties stay on the market for months, if not years in an attempt to sell to purchasers who require mortgage lending. This could result not only, in larger amounts of time spent attempting to sell the property but can also mean that the condition of the building deteriorates and also that the number of aborted transactions means that you are left with an extremely large solicitors bill at the end of the transaction.
